Emil + Mallory’s Ceremony & Formals ~Nature Pointe~

Hello Everyone! I hope that you all had a great weekend and Monday! Today I am blogging on Emil & Mallory’s wedding. This vintage themed event (with lots of peacock feathers!) took place at the beautiful Nature Pointe in Tijeras, NM. If I could describe this wedding in 3 words they would be FUN, vintage and original! They definitely did not have the everyday wedding. I think I had a smile on my face the entire day! Their wedding definitely had some style oh and as the groomsmen said “yes we are experts in fashion!”. Each couple from their wedding party strutted their stuff to the song celebrate as they entered into the ceremony, it was more than awesome!!  Their ceremony was filled with laughter (Emil had the funniest vows!) and some tears of true happiness! I love that I get to be apart of something so special! As you will see below this wedding party knew how to have a good time. They came prepared with more poses and fun ideas than I could wrap my brain around! All in all this wedding was just amazing! Emil and Mallory are such a fun couple and it was more than a pleasure to work with them! Enjoy the preview! (Reception preview to follow!)

As for the shooting and my gear. I shot with my  EOSCanon 60D and my EOSCanon 50D using a micro wide angle lens and also my 300mm Lens(which is my favorite lens). I used as much natural light as I possibly could and also used a shoe mount flash with some off camera flash as well. For the editing I used a vintage style and rustic look. For more info on how I captured these shots and camera settings shoot me an email. I would love to give you some pointers 😉

This last image was shot in the dark. Sooo a steady hand and the right camera setting made for a great romantic shot under this super cool light.
